This looks really cool :dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

Looks like they filmed some really cute looking girls for the Handgun Dynamics

If you get the right amount of dough and people together they will fly in and do a course. They even give the specs of the type of range needed on their website.

If you were serious about seeking training you'd had noticed that it is available in Canada.

Basically Im just saying it looks like a lot of fun and that I wish there were more readily available courses promoted that are like this, but geared towards the fun of the experience.

I have no reason whatsoever for actual training like this other than it'd be a blast to do on a weekend with some friends. Im aware that courses similar to this run at borden and other DND bases throughout the summer, as well as on the firearms canada website lists lots of companies that offer similar tactical training.

edit- wow, just checked their prices too, $600 for 3 days? Thats really good! almost worth a road trip down to check out

Looks like a ton of fun!

Re: the handgun DVD
Just based on the clip, it looks like there's a fair bit of overlap from the Tactical Response course.

Well, in the second video, the rotor-craft are registered in Canada to Heliquest, and they charge 1469$ per hour for use of the Bell 205A, or at least that's what they charged the US government for the summer of 2009. There is a requirement for 1.5 hours of flight time, so that's at least 2203.5$ for the helicopter alone, or 220.35$ per student (10 students).

Sounds like a very interesting, but also very expensive course for people who don't own a helicopter or have access to one at public expense.

Now I know why there stuff cost so much!
I wonder how much it costed just to make the heli movie & the red head girl was cuite too.

Watching that first video Im reminded a lot of TDSA handgun courses... you guys should give em a try. It looks like the exact same kind of coursework, down to the drawing and grip techniques.

The videos are cool, they look to be of high production value. Just remember that these kinds of courses are generally a bit slower paced and its all about drills drills drills. Repeat, repeat, repeat... until it becomes second nature.

If you are a Canadian Law enforcement officer are you allowed to take any and all courses offered in the U.S.?

It depends.

If your entity has in inplace TAA for training then your good, if not the US Entity (which MUST be licensed for export) has to apply for a DSP-83 for the training.
