Did a search but couldn't find anything. Where can I find Magpul products (SGA, MOE forend) for a Mossberg 590? Everywhere seems to just carry them for the Remington :(

EDIT: Just did some more research... looks like they aren't even out for the Mossberg yet! No wonder I couldn't find anything

Coming out in Fall 2013 for the USA ......

..... and Fall 2015 for Canada LOL.

We probably won't see any until next year up here.

When magpul releases these they will fly off the shelf. It will be a frenzy

Both statements are quite true and when you think about it, it's completely stupid. Seriously - why in the world does it take so long to develop and bring to market simple plastic components like this? With CAD technology and CNC machines it shouldn't take much longer than a week to have a working, fitted prototype and then taking it to production on a large scale shouldn't be an issue. Samsung, Apple etc. develop and bring to market new smartphones faster than these jokers roll out simple plastic parts.

Both Apple and Samsung also have orders of magnitude more capital to invest in manufacturing, R&D and supply chains. It's unfair to compare a small business like Magpul with a global conglomerate like Samsung, or one of the world's most valuable companies (Apple).

With modern technolgy the r&d capability of even small companies is quite remarkable. Also I know for a fact that you can go offshore and have products like these shotgun components produced in large quantity with an unbelievably short turnaround time. This is common in the powersports industry where the market is even smaller than in the firearms community so the economies of scale argument doesn't hold water.

For sure, offshore can scale this stuff easily. Magpul doesn't offshore. AFAIK, every product they sell is made in the USA. A great selling feature, IMO. I don't buy stuff made in the third world if I can avoid it.

It would take the mold makers longer than a week to make the molds for parts like that. And molds like that would run into tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars after all the development is done. Also magpul is probably running right at capacity now. So they would have to buy new machines and hire more guys.
