Magpul forend quality issues?

I haven't found the MOE forend to be prone to slippage personally. Maybe it's the way I hold it, I don't know.

Don't waste your $. They don't stick well and tend to come off. They are just rebranded 3M grip tape strips.

Humm, if that's the case, I guess I'll stick to skateboard tape.

If they come off easy, I doubt the surface was prepped for it, and that it's actual 3M stuff.

Perhaps. I prepped it according to the instructions provided. They tended to peel off at the top because of the requirement to bend it over to fit. I believe they are 3M. They would probably stick better if you trim them down to only make contact with the flat surface. They do have a nice texture, better the skateboard tape IMO.

With a Hogue forend you don't need skateboard tape. Just sayin.

Did you warm it up with a blow dryer and hold it for a minute?helps with curved surfaces.

+1. That textured overmolded stuff is great for grip.

I have the same issue the left side have less clearence that the right side, i an using mil comm grease on plastic so that the rubbing is minimal.
