Magpul Hunter700 stock. Opinions

Looking at the Magpul 700. Just wondering if it a reasonable choice for a budget conscious build. The literature says it is a drop in stock but is it possible to bed the action in this type of stock in order to improve the fit even better ?

It can be easily bedded. It's not the worst choice, I find them comfortable. I use one with a 223 and it shoots very well. I'd probably look at something more solid for a heavier recoil cartridge then 308.

I'd consider a KRG Bravo, no bedding required and very affordable

Pretty solid improvement yes. Much longer aluminum block.

Ergonomics definitely favor a field use. Very comfy in a range of positions. Nice recoil pad. Because it is an integrated system, the mags, DBM and inletting all work really well together.

One of the easiest sets up to run smoothly... in general, just drop it in and go. I always skim bed cause.... I like as much consistency and precision as possible.

well priced and compatible with both 30-06 and std magnums... assume this is a LA enquiry?
