I have a M93B and I like it but I've been thinking of the smaller/lighter CTR stock. I have no way to try a CTR out first so what's the preference out there and why?

It's going to be on my dual use lower with a 10.5" 9mm and a 14.5" 223 upper.

The Vltor is not as sturdy as the Crane. If you look at how thing is done with the Vltor you can see that they separate the battery compartments from the main stock because it is the cheaper way to do it.

The thing I like about the Magpul stocks are that they are rock solid with no wobble. Are any of the others like that?

I have a M93 and a CTR. CTR is nicer in that its lighter. THe M93 is an interesting piece, but I think the CTR looks nicer on the gun. Its still really sturdy, get it with the rubber but plate as well, makes for a nice fit. The M93 seems abit over engineered in both mass and detail, the CTR seems to be a nice alternative. The UBR is great.. but then again is it ever gonna be sold?

I'd like to try a UBR if/when we ever get the chance, but for right now, my hands down favorite is the SOPMOD. Very comfortable, rock solid, and extremely well made. Didn't think I'd like another stock as well as the Magpul 93B, but the SOPMOD definitely did it for me! The CTR are a good stock, but for the prices they're going for up here in Canada, there are better options, like the Vltor.

SOPMOD is #1 on my list too but the high price and the usual rough finish (Okay I get it, supposed to look rugged;)) that reminds me of poor QC may be factors majority goes for Magpul, Vltor etc.
