Is the BCG damp with lube? many, many AR issues (such as short stroking, failure to hold open, failure to feed, etc) can be caused by running the rifle too dry. If what you are describing happened to me, the first thing I would do is spray the BCG down with lube through the E-port. I run PMags with no issues in my Norc.
PS: Do Not Lube The Buffer or Recoil Spring
I try that and it worked out fine. The bolt stays OPEN with the P-mags just like it does with the original mags. I use Winchester ammo and i'll try a different kind of ammo next weekend. I did clean the upper and lower this morning like someone else as suggested.
