Magpul MBUS PTS

Anyone have experience with the Magpul MBUS PTS flip up sights? Apparently the PTS version is actually manufactured for use with airsoft guns and some reviews say they don't work very well on real guns. But I ordered some to put onto my SR-22.

I tried the ARMS #70 airsoft sights on my sr22 - the bolts fell out during the first shoot. I sprung for the real MBUS's after that.

I saw a set of the PTS MBUS Gen 1's, absolute crap. Don't waste your money, just get the real thing.

Bought the PTS for my SR22 and the first time I flipped them up the rear sight snapped. Have since spent the money on the real MBUS and haven't had a problem even out in -25 they still held up great. Moral of the story spend the money.

It's stories like this that make me feel better than I played it safe and bought the real deal MBUS to start off with. I've always wondered if I could have gotten away with the cheaper route. Someone at my range once even ridiculed me for spending more for the real thing.

PTS is garbage, hell even genuine MOE MBUS arent very good sights but they will work fine for what there intended for...back up sights!

I guess they are ok for look, but if you want to use them....Go Troy, they are pricy but they worth it. Maybe it's just me, but I like quality stuff and it come with a cost.
