IIRC they weren't developing it any further then the, "Wouldn't it be cool if...?" stage.

Hopefully there will be a .22 conversion kit for it if it ever comes out.

Unfortunately Magpul I believe listed it as a design concept.

I don't think there is a working prototype.

After the issues getting the Masada/ACR up and running I'm not sure how much Magpul wants to go into firearm production. As they stated they do not have the expertise on metal working.

I agree the design concept is amazing but actually turning that into a reliable working machine might be difficult for them currently.
