Hi all,

Any chance these mags have a lot of variability in them? My Shadow Systems 9mm has issues with 2 of the 4 Pmags I have. Two don’t feed the first round reliably (although that seems to be getting a bit better with use) and the same two don’t hold the chamber open on the last round?

50% variability seems a bit high. Is this common? My rifle Pmags are all fine.

Should I stick to OEM Glock mags (pricey) or is there another quality option? TIA

are these native 10-rounders or pinned? if the latter, make sure the spring doesn't get caught on the rivet. kinda obvious, but...

I have a SS MR918L and I have 9 pmags 10/10. They all reliably function.

How new is your SS ? Done with the break in period ?

Not nearly broken in. Only about 100 rounds. I did note the feed issue got a little better but still required the slide pulling back again.

I just want to clarify we are all on the same page regarding what 5.45 said about the 2 types of glock 19 mags that magpul makes. Theres the standard capacity 15 rounder that is limited to 10 by a rivet and there is the other type made specifically for 10 rounds because of the way the baseplate attaches and blocks it internally.

On the riveted version it could be possible the rivet interferes and you get too much spring trapped above or below the rivet. Mine have been okay in the 2 years I've been using them.

I’ve got a bunch of the various sizes of magpul mags 10s 15s 17s 21s and 27s all riveted normally and they all work flawlessly over thousands of rounds in my G19 17 and PC carbine.

I did see a video where someone couldn’t get them to work in a PSA Dagger Glock clone so off brand Glock a types might have issues with the specs.

PSA ships the dagger with a pmag, I would hope that they'd have designed it for that.

Mine are native 10 rounders. Not pinned. I’ll disassemble and reassemble them and take the gun down and clean everything up. Worst case scenario I’ll get a few more mags.
