Hi,

Any one used those magazines MAGPUL - PMAG in their LMT.

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I had a problem with the two windowed pmags that I own. They fit tight in the magwell and wouldn't eject like my non-windowed pmags. I just ended up sanding a bit off the spine where it was coming into contact and now ejects nicely.

The only thing you have to ask the seller is if the rivet is counter sunk. Dynamite Monkey on here sells them counter sunk, and they drop free beautifully. My buddy bought some off Questar and they weren't counter sunk, so they'd jam up and get stuck in the lower. They were basically useless, and had to be re-riveted. Thats the only thing you have to watch with them, I guess the same could be said for any mag though...

Run a couple dozen pmags in my two LMTs. Never a problem. Watch the rivet job is my only advice.

First one got stuck cause of the rivet but works fine after I sanded them. I have the ones from Questar.

Thats why Questar advertises them as unfitted/unfinished.

Yes, I currently use these in my LMT Defender; all work without a hitch. This includes the older (pre-revision "M") 30-rnd windowed PMAGs, the newer ("M" version) 20-rnd and 30-rnd standard/windowed PMAGs and the 30-rnd EMAGs. The rivets were either countersunk or almost flush, however.

This is all very educational. I have never seen a P-mag with a rivet . (I know, shut up @$$hole):D Guns like the scar are a tight fit with the P-mag. They run fine in mine, but dont drop free. Magpu E-mags are designed to drop free in guns with a tighter mag well. All AR's I have ever tried P-mags in run great. I love the things!

I was just about to order some from Questar for use in my Norinco M4. I'm sort of confused by what you said, is there anything I should be wary of?

You just have to file the rivet down so it's flush against the magazine. Takes like a minute a mag with a hand file. Don't go crazy though, I had two rivets popped out during use cause I filed them down too much. Basically just file them just enough so they insert and drop without dragging.

I sanded mine down and they work great. If you feel that you sand too much off you could prob put a little bit of epoxy on it to solidify the rivet.

i bought 3 for my aero lower and 3 for my buddies armalite. they drop free fine on my aero but are dragging on his armalite and need to be sanded down.
