Magpul seems to be on fire this year. They have a ton of new releases for SHOT this year. It will be interesting to see what else they have up their sleeve.

Seems like Magpul is really sh*t kicking the OEM magazine manufacturers by providing these low cost alternatives, good for them.

If Magpul manages to produce a polymer G17 magazine that feeds and drops reliably and consistently is sold up here pinned instead of just a limited capacity mag like a factory Glock 10 rounder, they will sell like hotcakes. If AR PMag pricing is anything to go by, they should hit the streets up here at $20 - $25 or thereabouts. Still cheaper than a factory mag and pinned instead of incapacitated.

I may actually buy a Glock if these are a nice as they look!

Glocks mags are so cheap state side. I bought a bunch of them at 22$us/each from Irunguns.

They are only expensive here in Canada.

Nice to see Magpul bringing these out. With all the Glock owners out there I'm surprised they've never released a pistol mag up til now. I'd love to see cheap CZ mags at some point. $60 a pop isn't exactly cheap. Hard to say if they see a potential market for other platforms.

- No round indicator on the back, it only shows 17rd with a hole on the side... of which it will make it more difficult to pin to 10.
- Magpul has no plans to make 10rd version currently.
- It's lighter than the factory mag since it's full polymer, which is a bad thing for competition and good thing for CCW.

They'll make a 10 rounder eventually. They'd be eliminating quite a number of markets within the US if they didn't. We'd be able to impirt that particular mag as a result. In the mean time, it'll have to be pinned mags.
