Magpul prs plus blackfeather stock m14 will it work ?

Hi everyone and merry Christmas !
My lovely wife got me a new magpul prs but stock part no. 873750000794 , says it fit m16/ ar15 or ar10/ sr25 platforms . I know this system comes in 2 forms , one for 5.56 and one for 7.62 , the difference being that the 7.62 cheek riser is a little smaller to accommodate the longer pull needed to charge or rack the 7.62 system . I'm planning a blackfeather build and have collected a bunch of new parts for this ( oprod spring guide , casm mount ) , now I'm pretty sure this is the 5.56 model and I'm wondering if this will work correctly on a m14 blackfeather build , does anyone have any experience in this , or I'm thinking I'll have to return it and hope they have a 7.62 version available . I hate returning things but at least it's at a gun store ! Thanks for your time guys and have a great rest of the year , Ernst

That's good to hear , you haven't any problems with the op-rod hitting it at all ? I have a hard time picturing it myself bc. It stops before the end of the receiver . I think this might only be relevant on ar/sr platforms were they have the charging handle on the back of the receiver .I'd like to put it all together and check but if I take it out of the package , I own it

Op rod and release on this platform is no where near the buttstock as with the charging handle on the AR platform so no worries at all. I love the adjustment range it has as it sets up on the blackfeather as well.

I run an ar-15 prs on my blackfeather. If your planning on mounting optics it is hands down the best buttstock for that platform in my opinion. Good luck with the build and if you need any tips/info, just ask.
