Hi, I am new here and did not know where to put this, if it is in the wrong area please let me know and I will move it.

Is the Magpul USGI Ranger Plates a prohibited item in Canada?
I want to order some but because they are classed in the US a firearm part, I am afraid that they may not make it to me. I was on the RCMP site today and all I could find is if the part is prohibited then no. This is what they said: "Prohibited ammunition or firearm parts that are classified as prohibited devices, including handgun barrels that are 105 mm or less in length or parts made exclusively for a fully automatic firearm, cannot be imported into Canada."

And then they say this: "Currently, an import authorization under Canadian law for firearms or firearm parts that are not prohibited is not required. More information on whether one is required by the laws of the country from where the firearm is being exported is available by contacting DFAIT or the country’s embassy in Canada."

What would a USGI Ranger Plates be considered?

Thankx.

Thats blows, Forgot that Magpul went full retard and won't let brownells ship their stuff anymore...

Got to protect those Canadian distributors... lol...

Lots of our site sponsors have them in stock. Click on their banners up top.

CRAFM has them in stock, but you will have to call them to put your order through, as their web site is not up to date.

Wild West in West Ed mall has some. Bought some for my tiny 5rd sks/d mags. Have to remove floor plate but now they are useable instead of fumbleable.

Canadian distributors suck. No stock on anything. 3X the price. Websites blow. lol

Needed to get some Magpul followers for a friends LAR mags that are not working.
What would have been 5 minutes on Brownells is now 2 hours of hell looking on Canadian distributors sites and still no luck.

Wolverine has the E-Lander anti tilt followers for sale at $2.99 each I think. Great mags very tough and run perfect.
