I've done a bit of homework but can't seem to find any definitive answers for these 2 questions. Te rifle in question is a rock river sbr.

First off, 4 of 5 mags fit very snug, reloading feels like pulling a tree out of the gun. The stickiness varies between each mag but only one will drop freely. All the mags are usgi green follower from okay and brownrlls. I like the steel mags, anyway to aid in fitting?

Second up is ammo . I currently use Winchester 55 fmj target but would like to give some 62grain love to my 1:7. I've called most of the ammo dealers on here and nothing seems readily available. Id like to avoid the Russian steel rounds. Am I sol on finding a bulk 62 round?

Thanks any input would be appreciated

The fit of your magazines is probably due to the rivet in the spine, the one that limits teh capacity. File or grind it flush with the magazine and they should all drop free.

The 62gr ammo will be difficult to find and I would say near impossible in bulk.

I picked up some Remington UMC .223 in 62g at William's Arms in Port Perry a while back. They didn't have too much but it's definitely out there.

If you really feel the need to have 62 grain ammo for paper punching you can get the RUAG gp90 from TSE in Calgary....

It's about $850.00 per 1000 rnds
