MAGS for my M&P

Received my mags today. About 7 weeks from when I put the letter in the mail.

No sign of the rebate check though. Figured they would come together...guess I was wrong.

I'm all set now: M&P, 1200 rounds of ammuntion, six 10 round mags, and ZERO free time to shoot :(


Edit: The $50 rebate showed up around week 11 or 12. Forgot to update the thread.

I finally got my mags - it took several weeks - close to 12 I think... I got caught up by not having the receipt for my purchase in time to get it in the mail for the relevant offer - but I called S&W and sent everything in with a letter explaining the matter - and they sent me my cheque and my mags.
 
I got my 2 mags in about 9 weeks and paid a duty of about 23 bucks. They sent me Sigma mags by mistake, when I told S&W they said keep em and sent me 2 proper ones duty free. My check rebate was shortly after.
 
I bought my M&P in July. I mailed away for the 2 free mags OR $30 rebate offer, asking for the 2 free mags. About 6 weeks later I got a letter from S&W stating that I wasn't eligible for the offer (Not valid in my state CANADA).
Not happy.

S&W HAS made the offer good to Canadians, notwithstanding, what is on their web site. I ought to know I received my mags and cheque for $50.00 last February. Truly, Nuff Said. Others at our club have received either the cheque and two mags or two mags, depending on what promotion was on when they bought their pistol.

I received $50 rebate and 2 free mags from S&W. So, they do it for Canada. However, I suspect that some idiot may asked for mag over 10 rounds, got them confiscated and charged, as a result S&W don't want to bother with Canada after that. That's my guess.

When I spoke to S&W the gentleman suggested to me they had problems with some of their Canadian customers complaining they has to pay GST on the items which might account for the change in their policy. Just a guess.

In any event I did get my rebate and mags. I won't be buying another M&P so for me the matter is now moot.
