Hey guys, so I just finished installing a Megwedge Kwikrail on my SKS and I have to say, I'm impressed.
The rail is quite easy to install and when installed with the supplied threaded tube and screws, it's ROCK SOLID.
I ordered my rail direct from Megwedge, so it also came with the Kwik Pin included. This is the only item that I'm not overly impressed with. Although it's great in concept, it leaves a few thou of movement in the rail so a scope wouldn't hold zero when using the pin. If it was to be used with a red dot it is a small enough movement that it would probably be irrelevant.
Overall, this is a great product and I would highly recommend the rail to anyone who is looking for a solid optic mount for the SKS platform.
Once I get it to the range I'll update with how well the scope holds zero.
