Out of general curiosity;
Was Century in Montreal the main Canadian importer of the MAS 36 and MAS 36/51 rifles back in the day? The ones that were coming in unissued/still in the wrap.
Or did some of the other dealers import these directly on their own too?
Maybe John @ Marstar or Alan lever?
I'm trying to get a little better grasp on the history of one in my collection, and thought it interesting to look into who actually brought these into Canada.
...it's always amazing on it's own to just think about the places and times a firearm has been through in the decades between it's manufacture date, and the day you come into ownership of it.
