Major accuracy issues with my Yugo M57 Tokarev

Recently bought a Yugo M57 from Tenda. I brought it to the range only to discover that it barely can hit a target with a ten inch grouping at around 12 feet. I was using surplus yugo ammo so I decided to buy some S & B new production just to make sure it wasn't the ammo. I can confirm that it isn't. The sights don't seem to be the issue either because shots are landing everywhere... I bored the barrel and it is at 0.311" which is normal for ComBloc .30 cal.. I've run out of ideas. Anyone have any suggestions???
 
I have one that groups well be lands rounds a good 2 feet to the right of where I am aiming at 10meters. So far I have not spent the time to drift the sights for it to shoot strait. Maybe in the summer.
 
I'm not exactly sure what you mean but are some pictures. Maybe you can shed some light on the issue.

.311 is not normal for x25. It should be .309 and I have seen a lot of x25 ammo with even smaller bullets. PRVI for instance at .306". Perhaps your bullets aren't stabilizing.
 
He was asking if the barrel is locked up fairly tight, (not moving around), when the slide is closed. If the barrel is flopping around, you'll get poor groups.

However, if it's ok, then 10" at 12 feet is much more about you, than the gun or ammo. Normally I'd suggest getting a more experienced shooter to try it out, but in these covid times, maybe try using sandbags off a bench. Rest your forearms on the bags, make sure the front sight post is clearly in focus, then slowly ease the trigger back.

Your group size should drop dramatically.
 
After looking at it again, I actually have a bore size of .3095. My instrument was off. Interestingly enough, Yugo surplus ammo uses bullets with an average of .305 in diameter while the S&B uses 3.075

I am of the opinion that a lot of accuracy issues with Tok pistols are directly related to undersized bullets common in surplus ammo. I am a pretty excellent shot but I have a hard time doing any better than 4" at 10m with some surplus for instance, and I have had some groups that were downright embarrassing. I am capable of a small ragged hole with Russian and Chinese ammo on the other hand...
 
For the barrel, it has no wiggle at all. It seems all good. I'm at a loss. I just thought of this but the gun seems to be causes very odd primer strikes. Mechanically, I haven't had any issues except for accuracy.
