MAK90 chambered in .223?? Any opinions??

I really like the AK platform. When we shoot IDPA in the US and they have a rifle side match, I always get to "borrrow" a AK 74, just iron sights and not competitive against red dot sighted AR's, but a hoot to shoot in 5.45!

Says who? There is lots of experience with OIC 13 & 12(5) / 12(6) class on here!

I agree with Misanthropist. You may be better suited if you can get a MAK90 in 7.62. I got rid of mine in .223 many years ago. (maybe they improved???)
On the other hand I have not sold any of my 7.62 red rifles though.. life long keepers: prohib or not!
