Makasi pre-order?

Just wanted to confirm whether or not placing an order on the site right now for a Makasi MK15, means you are getting in on the initial pre-order tentatively due in for end of summer?

(It says that pre-order is strictly limited to 50, so I would assume so... But it also says that its available on back-order... I found that a bit ambiguous and couldn't get an answer via phone or email)

Thank you for responding, and sorry to hear that. Can I ask, at what stage of the checkout process was that message?

I actually placed an order yesterday that seems to have gone through -- Or, I received the usual order confirmation email at least. I was asking partially because I was skeptical that I managed to get my order in "in time", and partially because I was going to suggest a friend get one from Tenda as well, but with all the hype for the MK15, and Tenda having the lowest pre-order coat, now I'm *really* skeptical that there haven't been 50 orders yet.

I tested out another order just now and it seemed OK for me, but I did not submit payment.

I did select Canada Post shipping, so maybe thats why my order worked and SCnBEER's didn't 🤔

So as far as you know, if you can place an order, you're in on the initial pre-order?
 
ah you guys are probably right, I had store pickup selected as my option

surely they are over 50 sold by now though, especially with only 200 deposit
 
Ended up pre-ordering one elsewhere, in addition to Tenda. I know they're busy and I don't expect an immediate response, but I didn't want to risk not getting one and I wasn't confident that the site was limiting pre-orders to reflect incoming stock. You could see the numbers going down over the course of a couple hours on some of the other sites.

That’s what people preached about the GSG-16 😂 there were plenty on the shelves.

Even if retail ran out, there’s always gonna be some guys wife who will make her husband sell his impulse purchase.

I’ve seen this time and time again for the past 15 years.

I believe is different from provinces to provinces, I am ordering from ON. You can click into check out and see the final price including taxes or shipping if there is any depends on location.
 
I called them about the "backorder" status and they said thats what they had to do to create a preorder and that if you could succesfully order it as backorder, it means you are in the preorder for the 1st shipment of 50. At the time I called (april 17) it was still in stock. I was surprised that it wasnt sold out on day 1.

It lets me add 9999 to cart so I am not sure.
