I have in my possession a set of Clymer 308 go/no go gauges.

So if anyone is lapping in a new M14 bolt or putting on a new barrel themselves I can check your head space if you are somewhere close to the Golden Horseshoe area.

That is all.

does the clymer gauge fit right in and you don't have to pull out the extractor ? i just got my m305 and i'd like to pick up a set of gauges , myself

Yo - Have you ever checked to see if there is a difference in measured head space if the brass was fired when the gas system was on versus off?

The thinking being that when the extractor rips the hot brass from the chamber, it may elongate the brass giving an erroneously large head space reading.
