hey guys i am looking for some opinions or ideas ,i have a steevens 200 243 and i am looking to build a better rifle out of it , i started by installing a timminy trigger, and a oversize bolt knob, now its time to do smoeting with the the stock and barell this gun is my yote gun but i would like to get into shooting comps so it will be shot off the bench for the most part but i would like to still be able to carry it (not need wheels to move it) what stock do you guys like and why, should i go with a med contour or heavy barrel, and i guess i nedd to know what contour barrel before ordering a stock and is there anything i am overlooking Thanks guys

Calling Mystic ......he knows Savages, and alot of the stuff is drop in and can make your gun a real shooter.

An oversize bolt knob will not turn a 2 MOA rifle into a 1/4 MOA tack driver, but it does make it look cool. Barrel, stock/bedding and trigger in that order. Like liberty said contact Mysticplayer.
