This is for any members who own or have access to a metal lathe. I own an Atlas 618 and a Myford Speed 10 upon which I have made several gun related items; mainly stainless steel bedding pillars profiled to match the receivers. Also many stainless gun screws. I belong to a couple of home machinist forums. While cruising one of the forums I came across this article for making your own chamber length gauge (scroll almost to the bottom of the page). I think I will give this project a go this week.

If you click on his homepage link at the bottom you will see a number of interesting shooting and hunting articles. He has also posted several recordable coyote and other varmint calls. An excellent read.
