Make your own shoot n see targets....cheap

I actually prefer squares to shoot so I'll be doing up a template with 6 of them....
Although stars sound cool too, shoot them out like at the fair lol

I started making my own Shoot N See targets using a Xerox 9303 Docucenter copier that use wax inks. :)

Here's a pic of the first prototype. Seems to work...

Great "crafting" opportunity for the kids as well! More fun for them too if they get to shoot the targets they made themselves.

Friend of mine was actually doing this last summer with success. I never invested the time myself though after talking about it .

With cardboard, I guess you would have to paint it a bright color, then tape, then paint again black? It's going to be fun trying out different color schemes....kids going to wonder why I stole all his craft paper lol

I found this very interesting and will buy fluorescent bristol board at the dollar store as the base. There are several colours available but FL green and yellow would probably be best. The stuff is cheap and little effort needed to make a great target.

Good plan. Save the paint and just get the right coloured paper.

Also if you can get the plastic cardboard (choroplast)
The rain/snow wont wreck the target unlike cardboard.
The fake checks and political signs work great and are free.
