A friend at work told me his Uncle had a little over 25 lbs of Various powder he did not want.

Before My friend could relay the message I would take it............

His uncle took it to the local constabulary and asked if they could dispose of it!

Wow. Imagine...........

Yes sir it happens every day. Two of the boys I shoot with are police officers and a few times over the last few years when picking them up at the station I may get the opportunity to see what came in . Some times I would just about cry to see the guns and ammo people are even today disposing of.

My Aunt works at a police station in an administrative position. She has some good stories of people bringing in grenades or blasting caps for disposal and the police emptying the place. Some weeks there are more firearms, ammunition, powders, dropped off there than some stores sell. They put up a sign telling people to come in first before they bring their item in.

It really makes you want to bang a sign into the ground at the end of their driveway that says "Don't Do It ! Firearms Anything Wanted For Cash ! Call ###-###-###x"
