Making a 410 Shotgun from a Savage 110 Action?

Well, ive notheard of one made onit, its probably not impossible, however many alterations would have to be madel firstly having the bolt face of what caliber is was previously opened up to accept the 410 head, as well an extrctor will have to be fashioned, then the magaine well will either be blocked off if its single shot, or a magaine would have to be altered to house and feed into chamber, now theres a bigger issue, "where does one get a barrel to fit a savage 110 action in 410"? you would probably have to have a barrel off of a single shot 410, remove the lump and lug, machine it to proper diameter then thread it to match the threads on the inside of the savage reciever, then youwould have to check headspace and possibly run a reamer in chamber depending if some of barrel shank had to be removed tofit and headspance, im not a gunsmith per say, but your looking at a big project, with lots of time and effort and $ invloved, but i wish you luck if you seek to try it, id think it would be rather different, savage makes a 12 g bolt action, so a 410 isnt impossible

Someone on here made a 450 matlin and 45acp on a savage action so I'm sure someone could ream the rifling out to get you a barrel. I'm betting with enough cash it is possible

A barrel from a .410 single shot would have enough meat to turn to fit the 110.
A chambering reamer would not be necessary.
I expect a belted magnum bolthead would be pretty close.

But if you were to sell your action, and buy a bolt action .410 (if that's what you want), you would have money left over.
