well here is some progress, cold bent the steel in the vice using my bare hands!
This is what came out initially:
It is not perfect, I went back and shaped it so its not slanted, but did not take pic yet
The gun still needs lots of work, stock shortening/rubber but pad install, remove rust/reblue (or paint), polish the bolt, refinish stock, etc. Going to be a fun project on a $80 gun.
