Sounds good Walmart. Thanks. I actually went to three different gun stores on the island this weekend. All but sold out except gone fishing in courtenay bc. I almost pulled the trigger on the gun but after finally seeing one in person I would only do it if I could get that top rail delete and the foregrip. It just doesn’t call my name without looking more like an mp5. What was the charge again for both? And like I said even cabelas was sold out. They get them in the door and they just sell out instantly
I think the solution is that people will have to wait until after the hand guards are made to place an order. They will be first come first serve in batches of 8-10 on the EE, shipping the day after payment.

More details on the rear sight, please? Looks really sharp. I imagine the front sight is part of the GSG 522 conversion package?
The rear receiver cover (that the rear diopter is mounted to) ... was that part of the GSG 5/522 conversion kit or is that what's underneath the rails on the GSG-16s?
The rear diopter is mounted to the stock rear sight block, I just removed the factory aperture.
If you're talking about the length of plastic covering the spot where the picatinny rail used to be on the receiver, that's my GSG-522 rail delete.

Awesome job on these hand guards! They look awesome. I wish my Ender 3 made that nice of prints.
Haha I appreciate the kind words. Yeah it took quite a bit of work to get here. It's easy to print a ton of the same item and get it right. It's a lot more difficult to get it right on the first try, that's why I'm so hesitant to take on the custom work people request.
Trust me, my prototypes look like garbage just like everyone else's. I probably print something no less than 10 times to tune the slicer settings before it's at the quality level where I would be willing to sell it.

So, if I am reading this correctly, the rail delete kit will fit either the cocking handle cover rail or the receiver top rail on the GSG 16?
So if I replace the cocking handle with the GSG 522 conversion kit, then I can move the rail delete part to the make the receiver smooth top?

On the stock GSG-16 the top section has two equal length picatinny rail sections. My original GSG-16 rail delete is the length of one of these sections. Two of them will cover the entire top rail of the stock gun.
However, when you install the GSG-522 conversion kit the new cocking tube is not the same length as these rail sections. It's slightly shorter. So it leaves the rear section of rail PLUS about an inch of space that used to be covered by the first section of rail. I don't really know how to explain it properly... You'll understand when you install the kit... But in essence it leaves an extra inch of space in front of the rear section of rail. So to cover the entire area I created this extended rail delete for the GSG-522 conversion kit only. It covers the entire second section of rail (over the receiver) plus an inch of space near the new cocking tube. Also since there are no screw holes on that rear section, I put the tits on it to hold it in.
That's why my ad has options for both GSG-16 and GSG-522 rail deletes now.

Hand guard length is the same. The bottom section of the fore-end where the hand guard mounts doesn’t change, just the cocking tube above it.
