I think they will eventually look pretty, just lots more work to do. But they work and they are pretty sturdy.

I ended up using STEEL BED to attach the front sight, and I painted the base of it, too. Works good, shoots to POA to about 40 yards, longest I tried it.

Sturdy as hell, too. Not going to bend or fall off!

An oblong hole in the rear base would have allowed some windage adjustment...

It's good for windage- Shoots fine, but a bit too high, so I am going to lower the rear site base a bit and try again.
