Hello all:
In one of the reloading threads, some one had mentioned making their own shot.
I am a dedicated trap shooter who still reloads, and I too was considering this. Further more, a few of the “Old timers” as our club make their own shot and I was very intrigued to see if a hobbyist could do it on their own.
Well, I used the web to do some research, and it turns out that making your own shot is somewhat more involved than you might think. Please do not be dismayed, just be informed.
I have found and excellent thread on making your own shot, the pitfalls and challenges and thought I would post it hear for all those who would like to give it a go.

Be warned, this thread is from 2003 to present, so its at least 15 pages long, but there is a tremendous amount of good information there.
Further, if hot linking for information purposes is not allowed, I apologize in advance
regards and all the best
