Malahat Marauders Rendezvous (Victoria BC)

I spent the past weekend at the annual Malahat Marauder Rendezvous. Weather was hot but lots of friends to visit with. In addition to the usual rifle, smoothbore, and handgun targets there were a number of fun events including a fort shoot and a mini cannon shoot. The fort shoot was in teams of 3 with names randomly drawn from the hat. Most of the targets were bowling pins with penalties for hitting the ducks strategically placed near them. Photos below

Reminds me of the rendezvous I shot at back home in the east. We usually attended 4 a year in Nova Scotia, sometimes 5 when I’d pop up to the shoot in Moncton.

You dont even need to retire. Everyone on the island died and now theres job openings.
