Man, I love Epps...

It's not what you know, it's who you know when it comes to getting to go see the Marstar facilities ;) For the record, I've never been there personally but know lots of folks who have and I have seen pics.

Ellwood Epps Is The Best GunShop I Have Ever Come Across.
Whats Realy Great About Them Is They Let You "Play" With The Gun While Their Talking To Another Client And Stuff Like That. Realy Great Service.

If they took pictures of everything they had they'd be closed 6 days a week just for photography! They are a great old shop with a huge selection of interesting stuff, much of which you will NEVER see in any other shop in the GTA. IIRC they will email you with pictures of anything that you seriously are thinking about buying.

I agree with Tyler, their service is great even when they're busy, which is usually the case. Best of all, their gunsmith Doug has been pretty quick with the few jobs I've taken in to have done. Same-year service from a local gunsmith...what a novelty!

Great store!

John

I don't know about the gunsmithing but they have a great deal of inventory. I've been visiting their store for about 6 years in a row (about every 6 months or so for hard to find stuff) and have been very impressed with the amount and selection of inventory that they carry now.
It is a bit pricey, but chances are that it will be in stock when you need it.

John invited me years ago to pick up an mg42 I bought from him and to check out the store I wish I had i didn't have the time so he mailed it to me . Epps is where I picked up my vickers great peaple to deal with .plus if you want an added bonus and see some weird stuff priced so high you can't buy it check out Ad homonum(sp) behind Epps was in only once before the old guy passed now his son has it and it's never open but I picked up my c1 sniperscope top cover from them (they were the only guys who had them BITD and still it was $275.00)

I always love going there. but every time I go, my inquiries go like this:

"do you have ______"
"should have been here last week, sold the last one"

"what about ______"

"yesterday yes, today, no"

etc

Funny.....I get the same answer...they always sold it last week:popCorn:

Epps is the happiest place in the world. Period. I bought my first gun from them. I try to go every few months for a milsurp fondling expedition.

I keep them on speed dial. I try to do my bit to keep them around by buying a firearm from them about once ebvery two months. The Exchange Forum has led me astray though, I now buy just as many here as I do from Epps!

None of the pictures work on their website, how is that a good website? :(

This is true, however, email requests for photos of a specific rifle are usually answered within a day. Great customer service too. Here are the pics they send me of the m38 I just bought from them.
