So while my scope is gone for warranty work, I decided to try to take some shots with the factory sights on my M305. At about 70 yards I failed to hit a 10" square plate with 4 rounds, lol. Gonna take a couple more boxes of ammo to get the hang of it, lol.

Have you shot it at 25 or 50 off a rest of some type just to make sure your sights are zero'd?

^^^^this, and usinbags or a rest makes a difference.
You have to be zeroed in first, before shooting at 100 yards.

Do the rest thing first at close range then move out...

Yeah this was on a crappy bench using my bipod. Going to need to come in closer next time and get hits there then move out.

What they mean is the factory sites may be misaligned atm

Did you check that your irons are sighted properly? Missing a 10x10 target at 70 yards is very hard to do unless something is wrong. It's most likely not the shooter.

After having a go at the M305 iron sights after a long time not using peep sights I'd say the shooter can definitely be the cause lol. A bit of rounds cures that

Take a couple shots at 25 yards and see how you do. That way you should be able to determine if your not far off or the sights need adjusting.
