Greetings! My question has to do with Managed Recoil factory ammunition.
I would like my wife to become familiar shooting all of the firearms in my gun cabinet, however I am a little concerned about the recoil of the .270
- the last thing I'd want to see is the development a flinch which would ruin accuracy and take away the enjoyment of the experience.
As yet, I do not hand-load, so it seems that the only available option is to buy Managed Recoil factory ammunition. As advertised, the price is about the same but the recoil should be about 50% of regular ammunition. If so then, in the same weight of rifle, the recoil should be about the same as a .243 ?
In your expert opinion, how well does this ammunition actually perform at the range? And would it be suitable for a young person to use for deer hunting?
