Manitoba Chickens

In other news, I've been VERY surprised in the amount of ruffies up north. Up Norway House way, it was rare to see a ruffie, but the past 2 years I've been encountering flocks.

Re: Manitoba Chickens....I don't think you can lump all manitobans together, sure some may be timid, but I'm sure there are very brave people as well. Just like we shouldn't be dissing folks from Newfoundland, leave manitobans alone!

I don't konw guys, looking kind of warm for them to be out and too many leafs on the trees, maybe we should just all stay home and have a cold one.

:onCrack:You can stay at home then. If it weren't for the fact that I have to wait for my buddies to get off work, I'd be out camping out there already!:shotgun::

Saw 2 right on the Grindstone road on Saturday. Pine dock road all the way to Matheson - 2 birds no shots. Mybuddies son went to Manigotagan, $150 for fuel = 4 grouse. Fall seems late this year, lots of leaves and underbrush still. We need a good hard frost, then maybe you'll see more birds.
