Manitoba gopher hunting?

Somehow I helped a Saskatchewan guy hook up with a variety of gopher shooters. Now I'm looking for myself. Does anybody know of any farmers in their area (say within an hour of Winnipeg) who seem to be overrun with the little pests and need some help?

Good luck, man. I've been looking a while and only ever come across hear say and rumor. Would be nice to find such a place, I'd even travel farther than an hour for the opportunity.

Same boat as u guys^^^^^. One day I even drove around for about 4 hours asking farmers but no luck. At one house I almost tripped on some gophers walking up the driveway and the owners said "why would u want to kill a little defenseless creature". Haha

I am not seeing very many gophers at all in the Brandon area, anybody with any leads?

I misted a few in a freshly cut hay field near my farm 45 minutes south of Brandon last year. There were quite a few, but only a few cuts of hay each summer means only a few days of hunting each summer on this particular land.

So far I have found my usual go to places have considerably less than previous years. As well some of my fields have been worked under, sold and even poisoned. I have tried to advertise etc to find new spots. No luck so far. I do keep looking and asking around. My favourite summer pastime.
