I know that there are areas in 'toba where there are wild hogs to be shot and I was hoping that one of you fine fellow hunters would know about exactly where to go looking for these creatures.

I have been told that they are around Russell, but lack specific information, would anyone out there be able to point me in the right direction?? Thanks!

I haven't heard of them lately, there were some released way back during the big flood and Conservation said light 'em up, but unless something has changed I believe the population was effectively reduced (but hunters at the request of Conservation, at that). Did I miss something?

If there is any hog hunting in Manitoba its the best kept secret in Manitoba, You always hear about it but its always a few hours away in a vague general area

There was one in Headingley last summer, but you can't shoot them there. Best of luck to you in finding them. I think you'd have to do your research and get very lucky. Someone will shoot one, but its more likely it will be a guy that discovers one on his own land.

You'd probably have a better chance of shooting a Sasquatch in Manitoba! I have a German friend who is hell bent on shooting a hog. The closet he has come is spotting "hog prints and poop!"
