Kind of ironic to watch the whole thing play out. Natives and Metis bickering over who gets to kill the last of the large ungulates here in Manitoba.

And to think that only a few months back the premier was called a racist for criticizing the practice.

You can't get anyone to show up in Hudson bay when several vehicles are shining spot lights on clear cuts and not even making any effort to be sneaky about it. Many of them aren't even from Saskatchewan. They don't have the balls to touch anything with anything to do with Indian or Metis hunting, even when its up to commercial level poaching.

I talked with CO for several hours this year as he came out to check a "poached" Elk carcass I found.

He said they have their hands full with MB 1st Nations hunting/trespassing on private land.

It will eventually come down to an event like what happened in the Boushie case by North Battleford.

Some of the farmers he deals with have been somewhat " threatened" by 1 st Nations and some are scared. But someday a farmer with cahones is going to do something....and then the "crying" will start.

Ya...it is quite disgusting.....BUT....when thay day comes it will be the "whites" fault....
