My RPAL is in the mail. I now need to join a range in manitoba. My intent is to join IDPA or IPSC. I will have a VZ58 as well as a 9mm semi-auto pistol in the next two weeks.

What I am looking for is a range to join. I live about 30 minutes east of Winnipeg. i found this site which lists (most) ranges in manitoba -- //drclaw.ca/firearms/ .

I have looked (online only) at Selkirk and Wpg pistol at Miller Road. I have tried phoning some of the ranges but no luck. I have an invite to miller this Thursday but can't make it. I will go see Miller next week.

I am semi-retired and therefore can shoot during the day as well if I wish. It appears that some only are open after 6pm or so.

So the criteria as i see it are:

pistol capability, rifle capability, approx an hour from Wpg, open during the day, affiliated with IDPA or IPSc would be a bonus.

If this should be in a different forum then if the mod would move it that would also be appreciated.

Thanks

Miller Rd. has all that except the IPSC stuff. Not sure about that, but I don't think so. CAS goes on a lot if you're in to that.

Have you considered The Firing Line in Winnipeg? You can shoot .22 rifle as well as any long gun the fires handgun ammunition, (9mm.,.40, etc.). This range is also home to IPSC matches during the winter months.
