Manitoba Service Rifle Group Planning.

Bump. Anyone interested please make the decision to join in and contact Prairiemedic. This event is in jeopardy of not going forward without enough interest. It should be a challenge and a lot of fun.

I've recieved only 2 peoples confirmations at this point. I'll leave it until tomorrow morning, if I don't hear anything outstanding for numbers we can try again into the summer.

Would setting up for an evening be an option for a mini match?

An evening mini-match would be something I'd be interested in as well. I've always wanted to shoot a service rifle match. I'm disappointed there aren't more interested in this chance to get out and play with our rifles in a different sort of match than what you can typically shoot at your home range.

I'm going to take this back to the MPRA and see if we can do it as an evening thing. There is 1 confirmed person as of tonight, so at least i'll have company.

As of June 13th, it's cancelled.

If you do something in the fall I will help organize and put up some prizes. Just make sure its more fun then anything.

Cheers,

Sean

Prairiemedic, do you belong to the MPRA? Do they have an open house on Wednesday nights at St. Charles Range that is open to non members to check the place out?

Just keep it simple and rugged, stay away from things like optics that are questionable. Elcans die on these all the time.

Mmmmmm not really.Elcans dominate these matches and are excellent for this type of shoosting. In all the years for shooting these matches I can count the number of elcans I have seen die on less than one hand.
