You would have a better getting into snows out around Brandon. As far as when they we be in the area it all depends on the migration. Right now it seems like they are stalled out in South Dakota. There are daily migration reports at a variety of websites including TheRefuge, AmericanWaterfowlers, HunitingSnows & Flocknockers

Plenty of Canada's in and around the city, but like Tikka said, you may have to venture to Brandon to see snows. Or further south anyway. I have yet to see any snows north of the city.
