Hey everyone,

I was interested in The Manners LRH stock for a custom build I was planning in 338 RUM.
I was hoping to get some pics of the stock and an explanation of what Double Dead upgrade is.
Also what do you guys think would be the best sling stud locations on a hunting rifle.

Thanks

The double dead upgrade is a different fill thats supposed to deaden the recoil impulse. It also adds weight, so if its for a hunting rifle that might be what you want. Instead of sling studs i would look into going to flush cups for mounting your sling. If your right handed i would go 2 left side flush cups.

Agree with the flush cups, I love being able to pop the back swivel out and run my arm in the sling loop. Or just pull it off in the blind or stand. I would go at least dual flush cups, maybe up to four (two left side, two under side) and a small piece of rail up front for bipod mounting options. That really gives you all the flexibility in the world.

100% just picked up a LRH in that configuration for a .300 norma mag. The LRH is pretty lite for a “precision hunter” stock as is no harm in a little extra weight. But I prefer a little heavier rifle.
