Mannlicher-Schönauer M1903 Carbine Goodness

Must be different from mine, my rear sight has a fixed (1-200M) leaf and a flip-up (300M) leaf. I'm sure it works great, I just can't picture how unless the peep was for longer range and really cranked up high. I'm sure I'm missing something... ;)

mine has a single blade that fold down and my friends both blades fold down out of the way of the rear peep, if you leave the rear blade up you can use both the peep and blade to sight down to the front blade, unless you have a Lyman model 36 mounted it it hard to picture that it works so effortlessly, Dale

Beauty, thanks. I figure it would work great with the blades folded down. Might be a little cluttered looking through the peep and... wait a minute I get it. I was having trouble visualizing it but I was just over-thinking, I see how it would work fine. It would just be a O with an V in front... Thanks again, cheers!
