I have owned several over the years, this one has had a rough life but it is still a great little carbine to hunt with .
Condition is everything , and this one is not nearly in as good a shape as some I have owned.

I can’t post photos lol, I’m new and don’t think I have access
Do you see a row of ikons across the top when you type out your post? Do you see a little picture frame next to the emoji ikon? If you do, click on the frame, click on drop image, go to your photo files, select the desired photo, click on open. Repeat for additional photos.

You are looking for information about your 1903, but you are releasing details in little drips and drabs. A "factory peep sight" - mounted on the cocking piece or bolt stop?
If you can't post photos, start at one end and describe the rifle right through to the other end. Describe condition, how much original finish, bore condition, et al.

Sorry, the little peep will flip back and forth when cocking bolt, has trap door on butt, full wood stock, I believe it wasn’t refinished, it looks like new, beautiful shape. Bore is great, the gun looks perfect.

These are fine carbines. I had one in 6.5x54 MS in excellent/near perfect condition with aftermarket scope mounts and scope that also allowed use of the open sites. I sold it a couple of years ago for $2000.00. However, it took a while to find a buyer.

There's a long thread just down the page worth checking out...

That's a beautiful little rifle you have. I can't tell if it has a single, or double set trigger. It doesn't appear to have been refinished, but its hard to tell from the photos provided. Condition of the bore counts for a lot.

I'm afraid my estimate of value may be way off, so I'll leave that to those who have more experience with them.
