Really interested in one of these, are they still available/come up for sale often in this caliber? Where is best to look?

They haven't made any in a long time. IMO the pre-war ones are the ones to watch for. EE, gun shows, auctions. Be prepared to pay $12-1500, though you might find one cheaper.
