I'm starting to look at the possibility to get into the manufacturing of some firearms equipment, if it proves worth the trouble and ROI to incorporate that with my shop's current type of work which is not firearms related. Mainly non-restricted high precision is the goal, and potentially some repairs, installs and so on, with the idea to maybe grow into that sector slowly in the next 2-5 years if its worth it, as its 1 of many other projects. Didn't bother to check with my insurance broke yet to see how much of a premium that would be.
Is the CAFC 672 form and possibly 674 form all that is really required? or is there something else more dedicated to the manufacturing and tracking of certain components, like barrels and actions. Like say someone was to manufacture 100barrels or actions a month in Canada, what does he need to be in all good legal order?
So any info on what all the requirements are is very appreciated.
thanks
