What an epic this could have been....

Anyway, I am sold on the Winchester Model 70 Classic (CRF) action. Smooth, reliable, simple and accurate. I wish the new FN's had the old trigger, but for 850 bones the Model 70 FW is the nicest new rifle on the rack.
Next in line would be the Kimber 8400, then the Remington Model 700. I will buy pretty much anything but a Savage or a Mossberg though.
Savage is too ugly and if I want crap I don't need to go to Mossberg; I can make it myself

Picked other I have no brand preference although I would have voted "custom" if it was an option nothing like building a gun to your exact requirements.

There is only 2 choices. 700 or Mauser. I prefer the 700 for accuracy, and any CZ/Brno for pure useability.

Sako for me. I love my two Sakos 85s. As well as being accurate they seem to ergonomically fit me.
