Manufacturing a Semi-auto sten??!! legal?feasability?

So i found some machinist's diagrams for how to manufacture a STEN gun and was wondering would it be legal if it was SEMI-AUTO? How hard would it be? What kind of equipment? Is it feasable??

At the last gun show in Regina, there was a table with semi-auto sten gun made in Sask. They were for sale,but I don't recall the price.I believe the table was Mike Magee's.

I think you would have quite a bit of re-engineering to convert a full auto weapon that fires from an open bolt to a semi-auto. Then being restricted it would be a nightmare to do legally.
