Manurhin MR73 Rear sight question

Just picked one of these up will hopefully have it soon. The rear sight blade has 2 white dots which I really don’t like, I have always preferred an all black rear sight. I noticed that another run of MR73’s were just sold at Tradex and they were advertised to come with additional rear sight blades. It’s a long shot but I am wondering if anyone knows what those rear sights are like. Specifically are they all black?

The other thing I wonder is what is the width of the notch? I have always preferred a wider notch on my sights. I plan on ordering a new rear sight blade but haven’t been able to find out what different options are available?

Any help would be appreciated.
 
Good question. I don't know to be honest, I haven't received the gun yet but my guess just looking at the photos is no. I will definitely have a look though when it arrives. Thanks for the suggestion.
 
I would just paint the dots black or use soot from a candle. I, too do not care for 3-dot sights.
 
I recently contacted Manurhin regarding the rear sight on MR88 to find out if different rear blades are available. I don’t own an MR88 ( yet) but own a MR38 match and the rear sights appear to be very different.

I have seen photos online of an all black rear on the MR88.

Sadly Chapuis hasn’t responded yet. I’m also waiting on a french Manurhin collector to send me some info. He apparently has 9.

In terms of grips Rink grips out of Germany is my choice for target grips. I’ve owned and sold a Nill and my friend has a Morini grip but will be ordering a rink.
