like you, i wanted one for a long time and was lucky to get two in the last couple of years. I know a few other owners; it's a small group.

I have an MR38 and MR73 with 10 3/4 barrel.

The quality of the revolver is outstanding and the accuracy is exceptional.

Tradex is the place to order new ones. Likely around 3000$

We have access to Manurhin through Chapuis Armes. However the French export process has recently been revamped for the worse and they are currently seeing very long delays getting handgun exports approved.

No, they are the foreign distributors for Manurhin.

I have an MR38 with an MR73 trigger group, making it a full double action revolver. Its a lovely pistol but is excess to my needs. Contact me if interested. It also is drilled and tapped for an optic mount.
